41. Think you want to print out a photograph with a size of DIN A4: 210 X 297 mm maintaning maintaining a printing quality of 200 dpi. Which resolution would the image need?


8.27"X 200 dpi = 1,654 pixels of tall.
11.69"X 200 dpi = 2,338 pixels of long.
Total resolution = 1,654 X 2,338 = 3,867,052 pixels = 3.87 megapixels.

42. Which resolution would the same picture need to have a 300 dpi

8.27"X 300 dpi =  2,481 pixels of tall.
11.69"X 300 dpi = 3,507 pixels of long.
Total resolution = 2,481 X 3,507 = 8,700,867 pixels = 8.7 megapixels.
